prep & maintenance instructions

  

The prep and the maintenance of your skin plays a big role in the overall results of your waxing. Following these instructions will ensure you get the best outcome in your waxing treatment.

Prior to Waxing

  

  • EXFOLIATE! Exfoliating your skin prior to your wax will prevent ingrown hairs and easier removal of the hair. Use an oil free exfoliator and an exfoliating mitt or dry brush to aid in exfoliation 24 - 48 hours before waxing session.

  

  • Do not shave at least 3 weeks before waxing appointment.


  • Come to your appointment with clean skin.

  

  • For leg and bikini area waxing, bring loose clothing to change into afterwards. Tight clothing can possibly irritate the freshly waxed skin.


after WAXING

  • Avoid hot baths or showers for 24 hours. 

  

  • Avoid heavy sweating, chlorine pools, and saunas up to 24 hours after your wax.  

  

  • Wear loose clothing.  

  

  • Avoid exfoliating for 48 hours after waxing.

  

  • Avoid touching or picking freshly waxed area to avoid any bacteria.


  • Use a post wax oil.   

  

  • Avoid sun tanning for 24 hours to prevent sunburns.


  • Stay on a wax schedule for best results.
